PRIVACY POLICY
SECTION 1 - WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION
When you purchase something from our shop, as part of the the purchasing process we collect personal information such as your name, address and email.
When you're brousing our shop, we also automatically receive your computer's IP address which gives us information on your navigation software and operating system.
Email marketing (if applicable): With you permission, we will be able to send ypu emails with information about our shop, new products and other updates.
SECTION 2 - CONSENT
How do you obtain my consent?
When you provide us with your personal information in order to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, create an order or set up a delivery, it is implicit that you are accepting the recolection and use for that specific reason only.
If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, such as marketing purposes, we will specifically ask for your consent or provide the chance to decline.
How can I revoke my consent?
If after accepting you change yout mind, your conesnt can be revoked at any point, simply by emailing patowetsuits@gmail.com
SECTION 3 - DIVULGATION
We will be allowed to divulge your information if we are required to do so by law or if you infirnge our Terms of Service.
SECTION 4 - SHOPIFY
Our shop is hosted on Shopify Inc. They supply the e-commerce platform which allows us to sell our products and services.
Your data is stored through Shopify's data storage system, data base and general app. They are stored in a secure server behind a firewall.
Payment:
If you select a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, Shopify will store your credit card information. It is encrypted through PCI-DSS. Your transaction data is only stored in order to complete the purchase process. Once it is completed, all information relative to it is deleted.
All direct payment gateways adher to the standards established by PCI-DSS as it is indicated by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint iniciative of brands such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
The PCI-DSS requirements help to guarantee a secure management of credit card information for the shops and their service providers.
SECTION 5 - THIRD PARTY SERVICES
Generally, any third party suppliers we use will only collect, use and divulge your information within the limit of what is required to provide the services they supply us with.
However, some suppliers of third party services, such as payment gateways and other transaction processers have their own privacy policies related to the information we have to give them for transactions related to purchases.
For these suppliers, we recommend that tou read their privacy policies in order to fully understand how your personal information will be used.
In particular, remember that some suppliers may be located or have facilities in a jurisdiction which is different from ours or yours. Therefore, if you wish to proceed with a transacion that involves a third party supplier, your information may be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction in which the supplier or its facilities are located.
For example, if you are in Canada and your transaction is processed by a payment gateway located in the US, the personal information you provide to complete such transaction may be divulged according to US law, including the Patriot Act.
Once you leave the website or are redirected to a third party app, you stop being regulated by the present Privacy Policy or the Terms of Service of our website.

When you click on the links in our website, it is possible that you will be redirected outside our web. We are not responsible for other sites' pricacy practices and we recommend that you read their privacy policy.
SECTION 6 - SECURITY
In order to protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow the industry's best practices to make sure there is no loss, inproper use, access, divulgation, alteration or destruction of information.
If you provide us with credit card information, it is encrypted by Secure Socket Layer (SSL) and is stored with an AES-256 encryption. Although no internet transmission method is 100% secure, we follow all of the PCI-DSS requirements and add additional requirements which are generally accepted by the industry.
COOKIES
This is a list of the cookies we use. We make a list of them in order for you to be able to decide if you wish to remove them or not.
_session_id, unique token, sessional, Allows Shopify to store information about your session (referrer, landing page, etc).
_shopify_visit, no data held, Persistent for 30 minutes from the last visit, Used by our website provider’s internal stats tracker to record the number of visits
_shopify_uniq, no data held, expires midnight (relative to the visitor) of the next day, Counts the number of visits to a store by a single customer.
cart, unique token, persistent for 2 weeks, Stores information about the contents of your cart.
_secure_session_id, unique token, sessional
storefront_digest, unique token, indefinite If the shop has a password, this is used to determine if the current visitor has access.
SECTION 7 - AGE OF CONSENT
When using this site, you are declaring that you are of legal age in your state or province of residence, or that you are of legal age in your state or province of residence and you have given us consent for any depending minors to use this site.
SECTION 8 - CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any point, so please revise it frequently. Any changes and clarifications will be applicable immediately after they have been published on the website. If any changes are made you will be notified that such changes have taken place, so therefore wou will have been informed of the information we collect, and how and under which circumstances, if there were any, we use or share said information.
If our shop is acquired or merged with another complany, your information may be transfered to the new owners, in order for us to continue to sell you products.
